Alan William Purcell, beloved husband, son, brother, and friend, passed away on July 12, 2024, at the age of 56. Alan is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Smith; his father, John P. Purcell; and his sister, Briana Purcell. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Purcell.

Alan was known for his deep love of local professional sports teams and his cherished time spent at the family’s retreat up north at the "Love Shack". A dedicated hard worker and true team player, Alan was admired for his kindness, caring nature, and generosity.

A celebration of Alan's life will be held on September 15, 2024, from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at the Otto Miller American Legion, located at 6860 Middlebelt Road, Garden City, MI.
