Angeline Francavilla Korejwo, 94, of Dearborn, Michigan, passed away peacefully on October 30, 2025.
Born on December 6, 1930, to Mary and Frank Francavilla, Angeline lived a long, full life rooted in faith, family, and friendship.
She was married to her beloved husband, the late Donald Joseph Korejwo, for 43 years. Together they raised four children and built a life filled with love, laughter, and lasting memories.
Angeline worked as an executive secretary at Detroit Steel, where she formed cherished, lifelong friendships. She later enjoyed a 17-year career as an executive assistant at Montgomery Ward. She was a talented artist and designer who created elegant fashion sketches and even designed her own wedding dress. A gifted pianist, she found joy in playing for family and friends — especially for her husband, Donald. Her creativity, warmth, and attention to beauty were reflected in everything she touched.
A devoted and loving mother, Angeline is survived by her four children — Donna, Mary Lou (Al), Paula (Gary), and Gary (Brenda) — as well as eight grandchildren: Julian (Ashton), Maddalena (Tayler), Corbin, Connor, Antonio Maxwell, Carson, and Christine, and her beloved late granddaughter, Lindsey Cianciolo. She also leaves behind one great-grandchild, Gordon.
A lifelong member of St. Albert the Great Parish, Angeline was active in the Rosary Altar Society and served on many parish committees. She was deeply involved in her children’s lives and parish activities, always giving her time and energy to support her family and community.
After her husband’s passing, Angeline continued to give of herself through volunteer work and faith. When she later moved to Henry Ford Village, she quickly became a friend to many, volunteering on numerous committees and extending kindness wherever she went.
Angeline had a gift for making everyone feel valued and loved. Her radiant smile, generosity, and gentle spirit touched the lives of all who knew her. In her final months, those who cared for her often said she felt like a mother to them too — a true reflection of her nurturing heart
