Carol Theresa Litrich, born on October 3, 1949, to William and Theresa Drenzek in Detroit, MI, left us on February 9, 2024. Carol was a remarkable woman who touched the lives of those around her with her warmth, generosity, and zest for life. Devoted and loving, Carol found her greatest joy in being a grandmother. Her grandchildren, Ava and Carson, were the lights of her life, and she would do anything to bring a smile to their faces. Carol's love extended beyond measure, and her family was truly the center of her world. A woman of style and elegance, Carol had a passion for fashion and dressing up. She enjoyed the finer things in life, whether it was going out for an elegant dinner or savoring a couple of martinis with friends. Her vibrant spirit and love for life were evident in every aspect of her being. Carol cherished her daughter, Leslee, and their bond was unbreakable. Through thick and thin, they shared a deep connection that brought joy and strength to both of their lives. Carol's presence in the lives of those she loved was a source of comfort and inspiration. Carol was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Larry, but their love story endures in the hearts of those who knew them. She is also survived by her dearest son-in-law, Jeremy, and her nephew, David Drenzek Jr. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday at 9:00 am at the Church of the Divine Child, 1055 Silvery Lane, Dearborn, lasting until the time of the Memorial Mass at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial donations be made, in Carol’s name, to Downriver for Veterans or a donation can be made to Carol’s family for their wishes.
