RAFTERY, CATHERINE ANN November 2, 2022 Our dear mother Catherine “Katie” Raftery sadly passed away on November 2, 2022, at the age of 86. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her. She also had many friends and extended family who loved her dearly. She was predeceased by her husband; Robert, sons; Robert, Timothy, and Gregory, sisters; Martha (the late Loren) Dornes, Wilma (the late Robert) Rogers, and Esther (Douglas) Trombley. She is survived by her children, Bridget, Sharon, and Thomas, 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and brothers, Robert (Joan) and Samuel (the late Mildred). Katie loved doing ceramics, crafts, swimming, bingo, riding her 4-wheeler, gardening, or spending time at home with her family. Visitation Friday 5:00-8:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm at Stanley Turowski Funeral Home, 25509 W. Warren, Dearborn Heights. Instate Saturday at 9:30 am at St. Kenneth Church, 14951 N. Haggerty Rd., Plymouth, until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Heart-to-Heart Hospice.
