Charles Allen Farquharson

Charles Allen Farquharson June 5, 1925 - February 24, 2013 Charles is survived by his wife Mary, nine children, and nineteen grandchildren. He is also survived by his two sisters, Lois and Joan and a brother Gary. Charles was known for his faith in God, a witty sense of humor, his love for his family, his fortitude in adversity, and his loyalty to church and country. He was a tireless volunteer, working with The Salvation Army’s Emergency Disaster team, and volunteering at Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills, Michigan. Charles was a veteran of World War II, having served as a radioman, while stationed on several ships in the Philippines. Charles knew the Lord Jesus as his Savior. Now he is at home with Him and at peace. Services will be held Friday, March 1 at 3:00 pm at the Farmington Hills Salvation Army, 27500 Shiawassee Rd, Farmington Hills.
