Christine Marie Coloske

Christine Marie Coloske, known affectionately as "Chrisy," was born on January 3, 1973, to Jerome and Barbara Coloske of Dearborn Heights, Michigan. She peacefully passed away on June 4, 2023, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of love and compassion. Chrisy had a zest for life and found pleasure in the simple joys it had to offer. She had an insatiable love for dining out and indulging in fast food, especially when she was able to share those experiences with family and friends. Scary movies held a special place in her heart, providing her with thrills and excitement. With her profoundly generous heart, she found delight in visiting Dollar Tree, discovering treasures that she would purchase and give as gifts. Known for her vibrant spirit, Chrisy had a soft spot for stuffed animals, the color pink, balloons, and babies. These things brought her immense happiness and she radiated joy whenever she was surrounded by them. Chrisy's passing leaves a deep void in the lives of her loved ones. Chrisy was predeceased by her father, Jerome. She was the beloved daughter of Barbara, and a loving sister to Karen, Bob (Tina), Tom (the late Judy), and Mary Ann (Ed) Wray. She was a cherished aunt to Matthew, Natalie, Peter, Michael, Bobby, and the late Jeanette. Chrisy's warm presence and infectious laughter will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Among her many friends at Community Work Opportunity, Chrisy shared a special bond with her roommate, Charlie. Their companionship and support were a source of strength for each other, adding a layer of friendship and love to her life. Visitation for Chrisy will be held on Sunday at Stanley Turowski Funeral Home, located at 25509 W. Warren in Dearborn Heights, from 1-5 pm with a Rosary at 4:30 pm. Lying instate Monday 10:00 am at St. Linus Church until the time of the mass at 10:30 am. In memory of Chrisy, the family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Community Work Opportunity at 5900 North Lilley Road, Suite 108, Canton. This will help continue the important work Chrisy dedicated herself to and ensure her legacy of compassion lives on.
