Concetta Adeline DiMarco

January 29, 1958 — November 19, 2025

Concetta Adeline DiMarco (Curcuru) passed away peacefully, surrounded by her beloved family on November 19, 2025. The loss of Connie leaves an unfillable void in the hearts of all who knew her. However, as a woman dedicated to her faith, we know Connie has found peace in Heaven and was greeted with open arms by the Lord and all her loved ones who passed before her.

To attempt to encapsulate Connie’s life and all that she meant to her friends and family in just a few short paragraphs is truly a fool’s errand. She was born on January 29, 1958 as the beloved second child and first daughter of Frances and Nunzio Curcuru. She was a sister to siblings Salvatore Curcuru and Carol (Charlie) Christopher. Like many Italian American households, Connie’s childhood was filled with love, family and fantastic food. She brought the joy and values instilled by her parents into her own family, which she built with the love of her life, Paul DiMarco.

Connie married Paul on October 30, 1982. With him, she became a mother to three children, which she would tell you was undoubtedly the greatest thing she ever did in her life. Connie was an amazing mother, dedicated to her children’s happiness above all else. It became clear that Connie was always meant for motherhood. Her selflessness and devotion to the well-being of others became even more apparent as Paulie, Greg and Angela’s mom.

Connie tragically lost her eldest son Paul on September 19, 2010, when he was just 22 years old. This tragedy could have destroyed her, changed her faith in God and made it impossible to go on. However, Connie was no ordinary woman. She remained the devout, dedicated mother she always was to her children and carried her immense pain with such unbelievable grace. She bravely explained that “Life is for the living,” as she guided her children toward health, happiness and the growth of their own families.

Connie thought she could never find happiness greater than that brought by her children. That is, until she met her grandchildren. Connie became “Noni” in August 2022 when little Paulie was born to Angela and Corey Cummins. Her world tilted as this little angel boy brought her a joy she never thought she would feel again. Paulie was followed by Regina, born in April 2023 to Greg and Maureen, Carmine in June 2024 and Rosemary in October 2025. As a Noni to four “sweet babies” Connie found an unexplainable happiness.

Now, with her passing, Connie’s family finds comfort in the fact that she is in eternal rest with her parents and her beloved son Paulie. In her final moments, though she could not speak, Connie miraculously smiled. Whether this was a final goodbye to those she left behind, or a beautiful hello to her sweet boy she missed so much, we do not know. However, we will never forget her smile and we know that it will be eternally shining down upon us and that we are so lucky to have had her in our lives.
