KESKINEN, David M., 58, of Detroit, passed away suddenly on July 14, 2013. Dave was born on November 20, 1954 in Detroit. He was a graduate of Cody High School. From a young age, Dave showed incredible math skills, often carrying a notebook with mathematical equations that he had worked on. He was always adept at figuring out how things worked and could fix anything. He graduated first in his class from Henry Ford Community College, receiving an A.A. in computer sciences.
Besides being an expert at computer technology, Dave was an avid bicyclist. He rode his bike all year round in every season. Several years ago he took it upon himself to be a loving caregiver to his widowed mother, much to the relief and gratitude of his siblings and his mother. Dave was a brilliant, honest man who found absurd humor in the world and in life situations. He was deeply loved and will be sorely missed. He is survived by his mother Ailie, his brother Bert, his sisters Marsha and Karen, and his “in laws” George Weichun and Susan Chapman. He was preceded in death by his father Mathews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 18 from 4-8 p.m. at the Stanley Turowski Funeral Home, 25509 West Warren Avenue, Dearborn Heights, MI (313) 561-5120.
