David “Dave” Stanley Morris, born February 25, 1954, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on March 13, 2026.

Dave was the devoted husband of June, with whom he shared 47 loving years of marriage. Together, they built a life centered on family, faith, and community.

Dave worked for many years as an auto worker at Ford Motor Company. Following his retirement, he continued staying active in the community while working at the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center, where he helped open the fitness center each morning and enjoyed keeping up with the latest Dearborn news and politics.

Dave will be fondly remembered throughout the Divine Child community for his unwavering support of Divine Child Athletics. He was a familiar and beloved presence at countless games and events, often serving as the bus driver for Divine Child teams. Whether offering encouragement to players or delivering one of his signature smart-aleck comments, Dave brought energy, humor, and heart wherever he went. His connection to Divine Child sports grew through his sons, Jeff and Adam, but his impact extended far beyond his own family.

Above all else, Dave’s greatest pride was his family. He was a loving husband, a dedicated and cherished father who never missed an opportunity to support his children’s activities and sports, and an adoring grandfather who loved his grandchildren more than words can describe.

In his free time, Dave enjoyed playing golf and spending time with friends. He was also known to frequent a few local establishments along Ford Road over the years, where his stories, humor, and friendships were always in good supply.

Dave is survived by his beloved wife, June; his children, Jeff (Kristi) and Adam (Majeda); his cherished grandchildren, Brinley, Blythe, Leo, and Prima; and his siblings, Michael (the late Laurie), Charles “Chuck” (Andrea), and John (the late Dawn). He was preceded in death by his sister, Deborah (Mike) Puzzuoli.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 26, beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the Church of the Divine Child, 1055 North Silvery Lane, Dearborn, until the Memorial Mass at 10:00 a.m.
