David W. Nielsen

Nielsen, David W. It is with great sadness that on Thursday June 28th, 2018 David passed away in Sheffield, Alabama at the age of 52. Living most of his life in Detroit, MI until 2014 when he and his mother moved to Sheffield.  David loved the Church and was an acolyte for many years. David had a passion for music.  His favorite singer was Michael Jackson and he really believed he had Michael’s moves.  David also loved to watch his Detroit sports teams.  David leaves behind his mother, Marilyn Ruth Nielsen, his two brothers, Joel and Daniel, nephews Andrew and Benjamin, nieces Rachel, Gabrielle, Danielle, Tanya and numerous grandnieces and grandnephews.   David was proceeded in death by his father, Rev. Luther M. Nielsen.  Visitation Monday 4-8 pm at Stanley Turowski Funeral Home, 25509 W. Warren, Dearborn Heights.  Funeral Service Tuesday 10:00 am at the funeral home.
