David Bernard Schuit

David Bernard Schuit was born in Chicago, IL on July 18, 1962, and passed away on May 29, 2023. David is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Renee, and his cherished children, Rachael, Sarah (Rafey Siddiqui), and David Louis. David worked as a correction officer for the state of Michigan for 31 years before retiring in 2021. David is survived by his brother, Steven (Velon) Magar, and is the brother-in-law of John Paul (the late Laura) Caron, Michael Caron, Charlotte (William) Orlewicz, Pierre (Suzanne) Caron, Simone (Tarek) Kazbour. He is the dearest uncle of Danyelle (Bruce) Wilson, Andrew Caron, Nicholas Caron, William (Victoria) Orlewicz, Kristina (Michael) Moran, Marissa (Sami) Kazbour, Steven (Kristin) Magar, Justin (Marissa) Magar, John Orlewicz, Kamal Kazbour, Michael (Keelei) Magar, Samir Kazbour. Great-uncle of Julia, Nora and Tarek Kazbour, Isabella and Lucas Wilson, Jacob, Grant, and Hannah Moran, Amelia and Thomas Orlewicz, Adaline, Adam, Ruby, Leo, and Viola Magar. Preceded in death by his brother, Michael Schuit, and grandparents, Bernard and Elinor Schuit and Constantine and Ruth Lembares. Visitation Sunday 1-8 pm at Stanley Turowski Funeral Home, 25509 W. Warren, Dearborn Heights. Instate Monday at 11:00 am at Saint Genevieve-St. Maurice Catholic Church, 29015 Jamison St., Livonia, until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:30 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to New Day Foundation, Imerman Angels, or Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation.
