Delores Munoz

Delores Munoz (nee, Ryba), 86, of Detroit and Redford Township, passed away on July 6, 2020, after a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her husband Tony, her brothers Peter, Frank and Edward, and her sister Rosalie. Her passing is mourned by her six children: Tony (Josie) Munoz; Kathy (Roy) Olivier; Cynthia Munoz; Barbara (Roy) Jeffery; Michael (Dawn) Munoz; and Michelle (Gerard) Grysko. She is survived by her brother John Ryba and sister Angie Kincaid. Delores was also the very proud grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren (with two more new additions due this year). Delores enjoyed gardening, canning and bird watching, and sharing a good cup of coffee with anyone who stopped by. She was a longtime supporter and activist for Recovery International. Ahead of her time, Delores always had a job outside the home. Tiny in stature, she worked on the assembly line at Detroit Truck & Bus until she secured a position in the office. She retired from General Motors after 14 years of service. The clothes are all washed and ironed, Mom, the stove is off. Go now to your Heavenly Father. His outstretched arms await you.
