Dennis David Basharrah "Denny Bartel"

Dennis "Denny" David Basharrah is the beloved husband of Marie. Devoted father of Gina (Bob) Gilligan, Sherri Switala, and Vince (Jamie) Basharrah. Loving PaPa of Alex, Andrea, Owen, Carter, and Violet. Dear son of the late Joseph and Olive, and cherished brother of the late Ronald.

A gifted musician for over 70 years, he shared his remarkable talent on the guitar in venues across North America, including Las Vegas and Puerto Rico, earning him the well-deserved nickname, “The Legend.” His lifelong passion for music led him to the love of his life, Marie, whom he first saw while performing at a local club. Together, they built a life centered on love, family, and treasured memories. He especially cherished traveling to Florida, where he enjoyed vacations filled with laughter and special moments alongside his children and grandchildren.

He will be remembered for his extraordinary musical talent, his deep love for his family, and the joy he brought to all who knew him.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at St. Sabina Church, followed by the Funeral Mass at 12:00 Noon
