Desolina Merlino

Desolina Merlino, age 86, of McKinney, Texas, passed away November 7, 2012, in McKinney. Desolina was born December 15, 1925, in Corpisanti, Italy, to Francesco and Filomena (Mascitelli) Conicella. She married Rocco Merlino in 1942, in Tarranta, Italy. Desolina worked out of her home as a seamstress, as well as for the Hyatt Hotels. She is survived by her son, Frank Merlino of Plano, Texas; daughters, Rose McCluer of McKinney, Texas and Josephine Caron Rancho Palos Verdes, California; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church in McKinney, Texas. Interment will be held Friday 1:00 pm at St. Hedwig Cemetery in Dearborn Heights, Michigan.
