Diane's love for animals, gardening, and the great outdoors defined her spirit. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, nurturing her garden and basking in the beauty of nature. An avid sports enthusiast, Diane delighted in listening to Detroit Tigers games on the radio and, in recent times, became a fan of the Detroit Lions. Beyond her interests, Diane was an excellent cook, she delighted family and friends with her culinary creations, creating lasting memories around the dinner table. Her enthusiasm for life extended to the dance floor, where she reveled in the joy of polka dancing. She, also, harbored a deep fondness for Mackinac Island, expressing a genuine and heartfelt appreciation for the place Diane was the beloved wife of Robert and brought warmth and companionship to their shared journey. As the loving mother of Stacey (Robert) Lohmeier, Barry, Amy, and Vanessa (Timothy) Danilowicz, she embraced the joys and challenges of parenthood with unwavering love. Cherished Grandma of Olivia, Diane found immense joy and pride in her granddaughter. Her affection also extended to her loyal canine companions, Darla and Gabby, who were cherished members of the family. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on Friday from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Stanley Turowski Funeral Home, located at 25509 W. Warren in Dearborn Heights. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm, offering a moment of reflection and prayer. On Saturday, there will be an instate period starting at 9:30 am at Ss. Peter and Paul Parish, 7685 Grandville Ave., Detroit, leading up to the Funeral Mass at 10:00 am. The Funeral Mass will be a celebration of Diane's life, a time to honor her memory and share stories of the impact she had on those around her. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the Friends for Animals of Metro Detroit, reflecting Diane's deep love for animals. Diane Kos will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and the indelible mark she left on the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the eternal beauty she so cherished in life.
