Donna Jeffery

Donna Strang Jeffery: June 4, 1921 - March 6, 2023 Donna Strang Jeffery passed away at home at the age of 101. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph A. Jeffery, and her daughter, Carole Anne Wyatt Petty. Donna is survived by her son Richard Dean Wyatt (Janice), daughter Barbara Louise Wyatt Marciw (Myron), daughter Laurie Jo Jeffery, son-in-law J.C. Petty, and brother Gerald Strang. Also surviving are her grandchildren: Bonnie Kaye Wyatt Clark, Shirley Anne Smith (Lori), Beth Ann Wyatt Carpenter (John), Richard Edwin Wyatt, Robin Louise Hererra, Thomas Jeffrey Marciw, Douglas William Wyatt (Kelly), AnnMarie Marciw Deis (Dale). Donna's legacy includes 15 great-grandchildren and 10 great, great-grandchildren. She will be remembered as a strong, persevering woman who was honest, outspoken, and dearly loved. She will be greatly missed. In remembrance of Donna Jeffery, a memorial reception will be held on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm at Southgate Eagles Port District 2148, 13175 Toledo Dix Road, Southgate, MI. Food will be provided with a cash bar for beverages (Alcohol, water, and soft drinks). The burial of Donna Jeffery’s ashes will take place at Noon on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at Oakview Cemetery Chapel, 1032 North Main Street, Royal Oak, MI 48067. A prayer will be offered. Afterward, anyone who wants to go graveside for the actual burial may do so. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
