SZMIGIEL, EUGENE “GENE” C. December 2, 2022 Beloved husband of Sylvia. Dearest father of Kenneth, Mark (the late Kim Brown), and the late Steven. Dear brother of the late George (Mary). Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Visitation Tuesday 2-8 pm with PLAV Post 16 Honors at 6:00 pm and a Scripture Service at 7:00 pm at Stanley Turowski Funeral Home, 25509 W. Warren, Dearborn Heights. Instate Wednesday at 9:30 am at St. Linus Church until the time of Mass at 10:30 am. Eugene grew up in Detroit. He was extremely proud of his Polish Heritage and deeply devoted to his Catholic faith. Eugene had a special affinity for the Blessed Mother. He was a true patriot and a humble man. Eugene made our world a better place. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
