Florence Jean Bisaro

Florence Jean Bisaro, affectionately known as Cookie by her family and friends, has passed away at the age of 89. She was born on November 2, 1933, in Detroit, Michigan, to Emil and Florence. On April 21, 2023, she passed away, leaving behind a legacy of love and fond memories. Florence was a loving wife to her late husband, Enrico, and a devoted mother to her children, Daniel (Kathleen), Lori Sundberg, and Allan (Toni). Her grandchildren, Ryan, Amanda (Adam), Katie, Scott, Adam, Arin, Jessica (Chris), and Nicholas, were all cherished and adored by her, and she took great pride in being a doting Nona to them. She was also a loving great-grandmother to Levi. Florence was an excellent homemaker, and she loved to decorate her home, always ensuring it was warm and welcoming. She was a fashionable dresser and enjoyed crafting in her free time. Florence was also an exceptional cook and loved to prepare meals for her family and friends. One of her passions was traveling, and she and her husband, Enrico, enjoyed taking cruises together. Florence loved spending time with her family, and her large holiday gatherings were always held in her spacious basement, where everyone could come together and enjoy each other's company. In addition to her family, Florence was an active member of her bowling league and held the position of secretary for many years. A visitation for Florence will be held on Monday, April 24, 2023, from 2-8 pm at the Stanley Turowski Funeral Home located at 25509 W. Warren, Dearborn Heights. A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at 11:30 am at the funeral home, with visitation starting at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association in honor of Florence's memory. Florence will be dearly missed by all who knew her, but her memory will live on through the love and joy she brought into the lives of those who knew her best.
