WIECHA, IRENE M. December 15, 2021. Beloved wife of Frank. Dearest mother of Fran (Brad) Jurcak and Karen Read. Loving grandma of Michelle (Andy Ciemnicki), Matthew (Lauren), Carollyn (Layne Wilson), Nicole, Victoria. Loving Babcia of Blake, Dylan, Wilson, Ziggy, Reed, Cooper, Ash and Liv. Dearest sister of Andy (Linda), sister-in-law of Lillian, Bernadine, and Cass. Irene was considered a "sweetheart" by everyone who knew her; as a Girl Scout leader, volunteer in the elementary schools, cafeteria manager at the middle and high school level, volunteer at the Henry Ford Museum, and even in the neighborhood. An avid sports lover, Irene played tennis and golf. She traveled extensively with Frank and has visited many international ports. Irene loved entertaining, was an excellent cook, but will be most remembered by her family as a "hands-on" and loving force. Visitation Sunday from 3-8 pm with Rosary at 7 pm at Stanley Turowski, Funeral Home, 25509 W. Warren, Dearborn Heights. Instate Monday at 10 am until time of Mass at 10:30 am at St. Linus Church. Memorial donations suggested to St. Jude Hospital.
