ION, JACK E. November 3, 2013. Age 80. Beloved husband to the late Shirley Ann(nee Fournier) and the late Kathryn Bradley. Dearest father of Norman (Dianne), Genevieve DuMaurier (Janine Shefka), Nancy (Troy) Shields, and Michael. Loving grandfather of 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Alice Bradley. Family will receive friends Friday from 1-5 pm with Services at 5 pm at Stanley Turowski Funeral Home, 25509 W. Warren, Dearborn Heights. Jack was a Volunteer Fireman for Dearborn Heights for 25 years. He also worked as a Toolmaker for various companies, Dana Corp., Ford Motor, Republic Tool & Die, and General Motors. He joined the Masons years ago but was not active during his later years. He loved going up north to Rose City every year for deer hunting and was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels
