EWING, JANET V., February 4, 2011, died peacefully surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of John. Dearest mother of Deborah (Bruce) McFarland, Candyce (William) Abbatt, John III (Patti) Ewing, and Amy Ewing. Loving grandmother of Brandon McFarland, Casey Zurawski, and Bailey Zurawski. Dear sister of Eugene Stanek. Janet died as she lived, with quiet grace, faith, and dignity. Family will receive friends Sunday 1-8pm with a Rosary at 4pm at Stanley Turowski Funeral Home, 25509 W. Warren, Dearborn Heights. In state Monday 9:30am St. Alphonsus Church until time of Mass at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to The Oakwood Healthcare Foundation. Donations will be used for the Heritage Hospital Stroke & Rehabilitation Unit.
