Janice M. Mckenna (Mcpharlin)

McKenna, Janice “Jan”. September 3, 2019. Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family, and friends.  Jan was a loving and dedicated Mother to Jennifer (Bill) Blodgett and loving grandma to Brandon.  Beloved Daughter of the late Evelyn and John.  Dearest Sister of Tom (Marilyn) McPharlin, Aimee (Jerry) Kopiwoda, Patricia Freund, Mark McPharlin, Mary (the late Michael) Carey, Susan (Erich) Bozzer, Timothy McPharlin and the late Judy Hutson, and Michael McPharlin.  Loving Aunt to many nieces and nephews.  Jan graduated from St. Alphonsus High School in 1969, and received her Baccalaureate of Science from Central Michigan University in 1993.  Jan loved her family and friends, and her hobbies were cross-stitching, playing Yahtzee, dancing, and bowling.  She will be missed by all!  Visitation Friday 2-8 pm with a Rosary at 6:30 pm at Stanley Turowski Funeral Home, 25509 West Warren, Dearborn Heights.  Instate Saturday 10:30 am at St. Alphonsus Church until time of Mass at 11:00 am.  Per Jan’s request, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations to https://heartlandhospicefund.org/ or https://www.thecapuchins.org/donate would be appreciated.
