Jerome G. Wydick

June 12, 1934 — May 22, 2019

Jerome George Wydick was born June 12, 1934, and received his heavenly body on May 22, 2019, with his family by his side to witness him entering into the gates of heaven. With tears in his eyes, Jerry told his bride of 63 years, “I love you” before he saw the Lord face-to-face for the first time. Jerry ran his earthly race with fervency, faithfulness, and joy while serving others and seeking to further God’s kingdom. His ministry was one of a faithful student who loved to share what he learned from God’s word. His greatest desire was to always bring honor and glory to the Lord!   Beloved husband of Delphine for 63 years. Dearest father of Deborah (Paul) Sabol and Kenneth (Cheryl) Wydick. Loving grandpa of Stephanie (Daniel) Sampson, Rebecca Sabol, Michelle (Enriqué) Paz, Hannah (Phillip) Pearson, Rachel Wydick, Matthew Wydick, and Christiana Wydick. Great-grandpa of Peyton Sampson, Daniel Sampson Jr., Kari Paz, Elena Paz, and the future Lucia Paz. Dear brother of Richard (Dorothy) Wydick, Patrick (Diane) Wydick, the late Phillip (Fran) Wydick, and the late John (Lottie) Wydick.    Even though we are filled with sorrow because he’s no longer with us, we rejoice with him as he is home at last – no more pain, no more suffering, resting in the arms of Jesus, his Savior! He will always be in our hearts until we meet again. Visitation Tuesday 11:00 am at Calvary Christian Church, 2203 E. Eleven Mile Rd, Royal Oak, until time of Funeral Service at 12:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Jerome's name to the Calvary Christian Missions.
