Joanne Peters

Joanne Peters (nee Wittersheim) of Plymouth, MI, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2025, at the age of 88. Beloved wife of Richard Peters. Loving mother of Linda (Carl) Myler, Kathy (Mike) Seurynck, and Susan (Jim) Murphy.

Loving grandmother “Dobbie” to Megan (Aaron) Jozefowicz, Michael (Maddie) Myler, Patrick (Pilar) Seurynck, Mallory (CJ) Mifsud, Ryan, Evan, Mary, Nicholas, Erin, and Quinn.

Devoted great-grandmother of Emma, Mia, Lily, Jacob, James, Sadie, Benjamin, Luke, and Noah.

Cherished sister of the late Charlene Jeske, the late Re Volz, the late Lou Wittersheim, and the late Lee Mayers.

Family and faith were at the center of Joanne’s life. She cherished every moment spent with her loved ones and took great joy in attending the events, games and celebrations of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren-always their biggest supporter and proudest fan. Her happiest days were those surrounded by family, laughter, good conversation and love. She especially treasured her winters in Florida, where she enjoyed the sunshine, the ocean breeze and a margarita in hand.

Memorial Visitation Thursday, October 23, 2025, 10:00 am-11:00 am at St. Kenneth Church, until the time of Memorial Mass at 11:00 am.
