SOLOWITZ, JOHN. August 27, 2015. Loving son of the late Ksenia Ratuszniak. Dearest brother of the late Stephen and Anna Prowalny. Visitaion Tuesday 9:30 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 26667 Joy Rd., Dearborn Heights, until time of Divine Liturgy at 10:00 am.
John was a veteran of World War II where he fought in three different battles (Rhine, Ruhr and Bavaria). He wanted a career in the Marines but serviced proudly as a rifleman in the 86th Infantry Company B.
