Kent A. Klim

August 20, 1965 — July 25, 2021

Kent Arthur Klim, 55, of Dearborn, went to heaven Sunday, July 25, 2021, peacefully surrounded by loved ones after a short battle with cancer. He was born, August 20, 1965, the beloved son of Karl and Henrietta (Gralak) Klim. Kent was an avid participant in the Special Olympics and enthusiastic fan of Divine Child, often riding the bus with the team to football games. He was an Alhambra member, Divine Child Alter Boy, and member of the Divine Child Men’s Club. Kent enjoyed all things Detroit sports, especially the Detroit Red Wings. He loved crafts, being outside, and attending Indian Trails Camp when he was younger. Kent was a friendly, happy, guy who knew everybody and everybody knew Kent. He adored his family and sitting on the porch or walking around the block to visit with neighbors and friends. Kent was passionate about celebrating holidays and listening to music, singing loudly for all to hear. He had a contagious spirit that brought an instant smile to people’s faces and will be missed by all that knew and loved him. Kent is survived by his mother, Henrietta, brother Kurt (Teri) Klimkiewicz, and sisters Sharee (Dennis) Lesmeister and Lydia (Jim) VanderSchuur, nieces and nephews, Stacey (Russell) Morris, David (Lauren) Lesmeister, Jamie (Ben) Hoffman, Scot (Heather) VanderSchuur, Vicki (Nick) Ward, and Ashleigh Klimkiewicz, great-nieces and great-nephews, Harrison and Grayson Morris, Oliver and Noah Lesmeister, Lucas, Elsie, and Mason Hoffman, and Conner and Judson Ward. We know that Kent is now with his Dad, Karl, and his great-nephew, Dylan, and is loved here on earth, as well as in heaven. Visitation Wednesday from 2-8 pm at Stanley Turowski Funeral Home, 25509 West Warren, Dearborn Heights. Instate Thursday at 9:30 am until the time of Mass at 10 am at Church of the Divine Child. In Lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to St. Jude Hospital
