Kevin John Rodriguez

Kevin John Rodriguez, age 62, passed away on August 19, 2026. He was born on December 16, 1963, in Detroit, Michigan, to Paul and Sue (nee Reynolds) Rodriguez.

Kevin was the loving father of Alex (David Cook) Rodriguez and Vanessa Rodriguez and the grandfather of Owen Cook. He was the beloved son of Sue and the late Paul Rodriguez and the loving brother of Colleen (Rod) Weeber, Paul (Barbara) Rodriguez, and Dave (Christa) Rodriguez. Kevin is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Kevin graduated from Wayne Memorial High School in 1982, where he excelled as a linebacker on the football team and as a long-distance runner on the track team. His athleticism, determination, and competitive spirit remained an important part of who he was throughout his life.

A true jack-of-all-trades, Kevin had a natural ability to tinker with, repair, and figure out just about anything that was put in front of him. He was endlessly curious and enjoyed learning, especially when it came to history. Kevin was particularly interested in World War II and Greek mythology and enjoyed strategic games that challenged him to think and plan ahead.

Visitation will be held Friday, August 21, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Stanley Turowski Funeral Home, 25509 West Warren, Dearborn Heights.

Visitation will continue Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., with a Funeral Service beginning at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
