LITRICH, LARRY. January 24, 1951 - April 9, 2023, Dearborn Heights resident for over 30 years- now Commerce Twp. Beloved husband of Carol. Dearest father of Leslee (Jeremy) Poegel. Loving papa of Ava and Carson. Loving brother of Garry Ann and Melvin. Larry is a Marine, Two time Purple Heart recipient. He did three tours in Vietnam. He retired from Chrysler Corporation after working 33 years Larry and Carol will be married for 46 years in May. Larry and Carol met in a hospital after his return from Vietnam, and the rest is history. Larry was a loving and generous soul. He knew how to make people laugh, and that was his specialty. Larry truly loved being a grandfather and treated his grandchildren with the utmost love. He lived for those grandchildren each and every day. He will forever be missed by an enormous amount of people. Larry left us way too soon. Visitation Friday 4-7 pm with Rosary at 6:30 pm at Stanley Turowski Funeral Home 25509 W. Warren, Dearborn Heights. Instate Saturday at 9:30 am until the time of Mass at 10 am at Church of the Divine Child In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Downriver For Veterans.
