Larry Dale Yeaney Age 76 | Born in Brookville, Pennsylvania on September 19th, 1948 | Resided in Ypsilanti, Michigan Passed away on February 28, 2025. He was born in Brookville, Pennsylvania, and proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Army’s 1st Cavalry Division in Vietnam, where he earned a Purple Heart for his bravery. Following his military service, Larry dedicated 32 years to Ford Rawsonville before retiring. He had a passion for reading, woodworking, yard work, and visiting the casino. Most of all, he cherished spending time with his grandchildren. Known for his quick wit and love of practical jokes, Larry brought joy and laughter to those around him. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, and grandfather who will be deeply missed. Larry is survived by his loving wife, Judy; his son, Steven; and his grandchildren: McKenna, Hayden, Annalise, Hope. Also, Haylee, John, Jaylynn, Hadden, and Jayce. He is also survived by his sisters, Peg (Lenny) and Cheryl (Doug); his brother, Duane (Ellen); his brother-in-law, Howard; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Charlotte, as well as his brothers, Bud, Phil, and Roger. Larry’s legacy of love, laughter, and devotion to family will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
Visitation Thursday 12 pm until a Celebration of Life Service at 2 pm at Stanley Turowski Funeral Home, 25509 W. Warren, Dearborn Heights.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or Disabled American Veterans .
