KRZYZANIAK, LEONARD A. JR. March 15, 2015. Born in Detroit on January 8, 1952 to Gertie and Leonard Sr., Leonard grew up in Dearborn on Wilson St. where playing golf, hockey, baseball and football was the norm in the neighborhood. He attended elementary school at Sacred Heart and went to Dearborn High School where he played golf but starred in football which led him to play 3 years at Colorado State University. He finished his undergrad in forestry at Michigan State University then went to Cooley Law School to pursue his interest of being a lawyer. Len received a job as an assistant city attorney after graduating in 1980. While working his first job, he met the love of his life, Amy, in Ann Arbor. The two were married in 1983 and had two children, Zach and Kelsey (Josh Lechusz), both of which Len was immensely proud of. Len was no stranger to success himself, he put his “shingle” out on Michigan Ave. in 1995 and later ran for judge of Dearborn in 2006. Len will be deeply missed by many family and friends. Family will receive friends Wednesday 3-8 pm and Thursday 2-8 pm at Stanley Turowski Funeral Home, 25509 W. Warren, Dearborn Heights. Instate Friday 10:30 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church until time of Mass at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Evans Scholars Foundation ( http://www.wgaesf.org/)
