Linda Louise Landfair

Linda Louise Landfair, born January 23, 1957. Died May 23, 2024. She is survived by Daughter Lindsey Shaw, Son Robert Basse, Spouse William Basse, Sister Sandra Glover, Brothers Randy Landfair and Matthew Landfair. Linda was a beloved mother, sister, aunt and dear friend. A very proud graduate of Fordson High School (class of 1975), Linda went on to study marketing at Northern Michigan University in Marquette. She was an executive assistant at The Free Press and Smith Barney, and later enjoyed customer service positions at Macy's, Starbucks, and Sanders. Linda was elated to be a part of Barack Obama's 2008 presidential campaign, dedicating her time every day for over a year to making phone calls, canvassing, and attending town halls. She was also a Hospice Volunteer in 2017-2018. Linda made friends, and lasting impressions of warmth, kindness, humor, generosity and compassion everywhere she went. There will be a visitation Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at Stanley Turowski Funeral Home from 2-8 pm with a Rosary at 6:30 pm. Linda will be lying instate Thursday 9:30 am at St. Alphonsus-St. Clement Parish until time of the Mass at 10:00 am.
