Lucille E. Sucharski

We regretfully announce the passing of Lucille Elizabeth Sucharski at her home in Canton, Michigan, on April 28, 202,5 at the age of 94. Lucille passed away peacefully after a brief illness.

Our mother, Lucille (Lu), was one of the strongest, kindest, loving women to walk this earth, and our family was blessed to have her as the head of the family. Lu was born in Petoskey, Michigan and graduated from Northwestern High School in 1949.

In 1952, she married Henry Edward Suchaski, and together, they had four children. Lu was a wonderful and loving mother who gave her all to her family. We will never be able to fill the space left behind by her.

Lu was predeceased by her late husband, Henry Sucharski, as well as Nolan Sucharski, Anne Sucharski, and Robert Cotton. Lu is survived by her children, six grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

After retiring from John Hancock, Lu volunteered at the Henry Ford Estate. She had a passion for cooking and enjoyed reading, traveling and spending time with her family.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Lucille Sucharski's name to the Rogel Cancer Center Breast Cancer Program . Services are still being organized, but will be held in June at St. Hedwig Cemetery in Dearborn Heights, Michigan.
