ZEWICKE, MARY M. November 24, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Edward Marvin. Devoted mother of Edward Jr. (Susan), Michele (Tom) Kramarz, Mark, David (Brenda), Charmaine (Mark) Wasenko and Jeffrey (Therese). Proud grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Dear sister-in-law of Ellen Zewicke. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Mary was the matriarch of a large family. She was an excellent cook. She liked sharing stories about her life growing up on Southfield with her borthers and sisters and all the changes she experienced in life as a member of the Greatest Generation. She loved playing cards and going to casinos. She helped work for the incorporation of the city of Dearborn Heights and was a founding member of St. Linus Parish. Mary was a great storyteller, so please share a story of her with us! Family will receive friends Friday from 1-8 pm with Rosary at 7 pm at Stanley Turowski Funeral Home, 25509 W. Warren, Dearborn Heights. Instate Saturday 9:30 am at St. Linus Church until time of Mass at 10:00 am.
