Fleszar, Michael "Mike" Stephen January 1, 2024 Michael Stephen Fleszar, a devoted son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on January 1, 2024. Born to Eugene and Delphine Fleszar (nee Kokoszka) on June 6, 1961, in Dearborn, Michigan, Mike was a beacon of warmth and kindness to all who knew him. Mike graduated from St. Hedwig High School in Detroit in 1979, marking the beginning of a journey that would span over four decades of dedicated service at Blue Cross Blue Shield. His commitment to his work was unwavering, and his contributions left a lasting impact on those around him. A sports enthusiast, Mike's heart belonged to the University of Michigan football team, and he cheered passionately for the Maize and Blue, proudly declaring, "Go Blue!" His love for sports was a reflection of his lively spirit, making him a cherished companion to all who had the privilege of calling him a friend. Preceded in death by his beloved parents, Eugene and Delphine, and his brother James, Mike is survived by his loving sister Rozanne. His memory will be forever cherished by his devoted nephews, Nathan (Deanna) and Keith (Erica), and he will be remembered as a dear great-uncle to Dominic, Darek, Karter, and Ryder. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on Sunday from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Stanley Turowski Funeral Home, located at 25509 W. Warren, Dearborn Heights. The funeral Mass will take place at St. Linus Church on Monday, with visitation starting at 10:00 am and Mass beginning at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Mike's name to the Michigan Humane Society.
