Michelle Ann Dye, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on May 16, 2023, at the age of 73. She was born on April 22, 1950, to Robert and Lucille, and grew up in a loving family alongside her sister Vicki Johnston in Marion, Ohio. Michelle's life was defined by her unwavering love and devotion to her family. She was the beloved wife of William "Ken" Dye, and their marriage endured for an incredible 57 years. Together, they created a home filled with warmth, love, and a deep sense of togetherness. Michelle's children, William "Bill" (Michelle), Robert "Bob" (Rosealena), Thea (Chris) DeLisle, and Keith (Megan), were the center of her world. She poured her heart and soul into raising them, teaching them valuable life lessons, and instilling in them the importance of family and compassion. As a grandmother, Michelle held a special place in the hearts of her grandchildren: Hanna, Abbey, Annie, Alexander, Alana, Brendon, Breanna, Bryce, Danica, Libby, Kaycie, Maisie, Garrett, and Connor. Their love and laughter brought immense joy to her life, and she delighted in creating lasting memories with each of them. Michelle's adored great-grandchildren, William, Evelyn, Sophia, Mason, and Mallory, were a testament to the love and legacy she built. Michelle was known for her selflessness and unconditional love. She consistently put the needs of others before her own, making sure her family and friends felt cared for and supported. Her home was always open, and she would greet guests with a warm smile and a delicious Southern meal she had prepared with love. Her cooking was legendary, and she took great pride in providing nourishment and comfort to all who entered her home. Michelle had a special affinity for animals and found joy in the companionship of her dog, Shiloh, and her cats, Loki and Thor. Their presence brought her solace and added an extra layer of love to her home. On Friday, friends and family will gather to pay their respects during the visitation at Stanley Turowski Funeral Home, located at 25509 W. Warren, Dearborn Heights. A Rosary will be recited at 7 pm, offering a moment of reflection and prayer for Michelle's peaceful journey. On Saturday, Michelle will be in state at 9:30 am at the Church of the Divine Child until the time of Mass at 10:00 am. This will be a time to celebrate Michelle's life, share stories, and find solace in the love and support of one another. Michelle Ann Dye leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and devotion. Her kindness and selflessness will forever be remembered by those whose lives she touched. While her physical presence will be deeply missed, her spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of her family and friends. May she rest in eternal peace, knowing she made a profound difference in the lives of those fortunate enough to have known her.
