Neme, Nazira “Nachi” a long-time resident of the Dearborn area, died peacefully on Saturday the 17th of June at Hospice Atlanta Center. Born in 1920 in San Jose, Costa Rica, Nachi received an Associate ofCommerce degree from St. Mary’s Academy in Windsor, Canada. She worked as a Spanish-English translator for an import/export company for most of her career. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Neme and son Roy J. Neme. She is survived by her daughter, Claire Neme, daughter-in-law Anne Neme, niece Carolyn Secord, five grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. What she enjoyed most was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. A viewing will be held at 10:30am on Wednesday, June 21 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 22430 Michigan Ave, Dearborn, MI 48124, followed by the Funeral mass at 11am. The final resting place will be at St. Hedwig’s Cemetery and Mausoleum, 23755 Military Road, Dearborn Heights, MI 48127.
