Robert Anthony Votruba. July 20, 2026. Beloved husband of Carol. Loving father of James, Bobby (Stephanie), Matthew, and Patrick. Cherished grandpa of Sarah, Penny, and Olive.

Robert devoted 35 years of his career to General Motors, where he worked as an accountant. Following his retirement, he continued to share his knowledge and experience by teaching accounting courses at Henry Ford Community College for an additional 15 years.

Above all, Robert enjoyed the time he spent with his family and going to church. He was deeply proud of his Polish heritage and was a sports fan, tennis, especially if Iga Świątek was playing, and the Detroit Tigers were his favorites. Robert will also be fondly remembered for his love of ketchup, which he happily enjoyed on just about anything.

Visitation Thursday from 3:00 -7:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm at Stanley Turowski Funeral Home, 25509 W. Warren, Dearborn Heights. Instate Friday at 10:30 am until time of Mass at 11:00 am at St. Sabina Church.
