Rose Marie Michels, born October 25, 1935, in Detroit, MI, to Aloysius and Mathilda (nee Sandecki), passed away surrounded by her loving family. She was a beacon of education, humor, and wit, known for her sharp intellect and quick sense of humor.

A devout Catholic, Rose's faith was unwavering, and her loyalty to the Catholic Church was a cornerstone of her life. She was a kind-hearted and compassionate woman who cherished her family above all else.

Rose was the beloved wife of the late Ferdinand and the cherished mother of Bruce (Ali), Patrick (Wendy), Mary, Ann (Archie) Thornsberry, John, Sarah (Steve), and the late Michele, Paul (Bonnie), and Fred (the late Nancy). She is survived by 19 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Her legacy of love, faith, and wit will continue to inspire and guide her family and all who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Instate Wednesday at 10:00 am at St. Andre Bessette Catholic Church, 4250 W. Jefferson, Ecorse, until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 am
