Sharon B. Jabour

Sharon Jabour (Lu) died peacefully on the morning of Sunday, April 11th, 2021. Born Sharon Lhota on June 28th, 1951 in Detroit, she spent many summers attending her family’s farm in Perkins, MI. She attended Rosary High School and completed her studies at Eastern Michigan University. Sharon enjoyed playing softball, hosting friends at her pool in the summer, and spending time with her family. She loved celebrating the holidays, especially the Tigers’ opening day and Halloween. She enjoyed decorating for the holidays and playing “heavy heavy” with birthday and Christmas gifts. Sharon had a deep love for all animals and gave many pets a wonderful home throughout her life. Sharon is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Mark Jabour. She is also survived by her sons, Justin Kennedy and Christopher (Brandy) Kennedy, her granddaughter Adelei Kennedy, her step-children Katie (Michael) Leffel and Charles Jabour, and her sister Suzanne (William) Britt, as well as many extended family and friends. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to your preferred animal rescue organization. Per Sharon's wishes, her body has been donated to the University of Michigan Medical School.
