Guzik, Stanley J. age 96 Preceeded in death by loving wife of 58 years, Josephine (Kuznicki) & brother, Raymond. Father of Arlene Bell; Robert (Kathy); Virginia (Anthony) Brewington; and Rick. Grandfather of Lori (Tom) Repovz & Jamie. Great-Grandfather of Joseph & Joshua Repovz & Morgan Guzik. Brother of John (Stella). Minor league pitcher in'30's. Ford Motor Co '39-'82, Millwright, Skilled Trades Bargaining Committeeman at Highland Park, Maintenance Sup at Utica. Pitched for Ford Motor UAW team '30's-'50's and continued pitching into the '80's with Detroit Baseball Federation Oldtime Player All Star Club. He enjoyed his many dogs, travel with his camper & boat, fishing, hunting, gardening, cooking, and the Detroit Tigers. Memorial donations can be made to Angela Hospice in Stanley's Name. Visitation at Stanley Turowski Funeral Home, 25509 W. Warren, Dbn Hts, Sunday 2-6pm and Monday 10 am-12 pm with service at noon at the funeral home.
