Loving grandpa of Brendan, Bailee, Alayah, and James Jr. Loving brother of Lori Bailey and Linda. Dear uncle of Scott and Dennis. Loving son of the late Leo and Sally.

Steven found joy in testing his luck, whether it was buying lottery tickets or trying his hand at the slots in the casino, where his good fortune often brought a smile to his face.

Steven was a devoted sports fan, passionately cheering for his favorite teams: the University of Michigan, the Detroit Lions, Tigers, and Red Wings.

Nature was another source of happiness for Steven, especially the times spent camping at Pinery Provincial Park. It was there, among the trees and fresh air, that he found peace, disconnecting from the hustle of everyday life to connect with his family.

Steven had a remarkable ability to connect with anyone he met. Whether it was a deep discussion or a lighthearted chat, Steven left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered.

Last but not least Steven grew into an animal lover once he was introduced to his dog, Bella and cat, Kara as he always enjoyed slipping them a snack.

Visitation Tuesday from 2-8 pm with Rosary at 7 pm at Stanley Turowski Funeral Home, 25509 W. Warren, Dearborn Heights. Instate Wednesday at 10 am until time of Mass at 10:30 am at St. Linus Church.
