Thomas Anthony Flanigan entered eternal peace on October 4, 2025. He was born in Detroit on August 1, 1947, to Anna (née Haffey) and William Flanigan.

He is survived by his partner of 34 years, Holly Zupanick, and his siblings: Daniel (Michalene), Doreen (Gary), Maureen (Wilson), Phyllis (Michael), Jeanne (Ken), Elaine (James), MaryAnne, Elizabeth, Kathleen (Gary), and Nancy (Ray).

He was the uncle of 19 nieces and nephews: Sarah (John), Deanna (Mark), Andrea (Ira), Anthony (Julie), Kiera (Michael), Daniel (Jesi), Megan (Jason), Patrick (Hannah), Adam, Kathryn (Phil), Patrick (Kelli), William (Ashley), Christopher (Mandy), Shane, Michael (Teresa), Thomas (Andrea), Timothy, Brian (Kathryn), and Jillian.

He was the great-uncle of 14 great-nieces and great-nephews.

He is reunited in eternal life with his mother and father; his brother, Brian; sister, Anne; nephew, Steven; and great-nieces Charisse and Charlotte, and great-nephew Leland.

Memorial visitation will be held on Friday, October 10, from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 7:00 p.m. at Stanley Turowski Funeral Home, 25509 West Warren, Dearborn Heights.
