Madeja, Thomas “Tom” Anthony September 9, 1927 – July 9, 2021 Beloved husband of Marcia Dee (Young) Madeja. Married for 69 yrs. Father of Kenneth (Deborah) Madeja, William (Carmel) Madeja, Thomas (Cathy) Madeja, and Susan Smith. Grandfather of 9 and Great grandfather of 18. Graduated from St Casimir High School in 1945. Dearborn Heights resident for 65 yrs. President of District 3 Little Sports League and Tri City Officials for over 35 yrs. His passion for Sports provided hundreds of Umpiring and Refereeing jobs to Local Teens and Adults. Employed by Engineering Society of Detroit from 1967 until retirement in 1993. Food and Beverage Director for 10 years and Director of Exhibitions for 15 yrs. St Sabina parishioner for over 40 years. Memorial Visitation Tuesday 9:30-11:00 am at Stanley Turowski Funeral Home, 25509 W. Warren, Dearborn Heights. Funeral Service Tuesday 11:00 am at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
