Yvonne Esther Rhoads (Nee Salveta)

Yvonne Esther (Salveta) Rhoads, 66, of Swannanoa NC, passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at the John F. Keever Solace Center in Asheville. She was born on March 6, 1951 to the late John and Irene (Idziak) Salveta in Detroit, MI. She worked as a dental hygienist in Southfield, MI. Yvonne is survived by her husband, Larry Rhoads and her daughter, Jessica Rhoads of Greenville, SC. Also survived by her sisters and brother, Patricia (Joseph) Rashid of Northville, MI, John (Karen) Salveta of Westford, MA, and Pamela (Richard) Hypnar of Dearborn, MI. Sister-in-law to Linda Simkins of Orlando, FL Her nephews and nieces include, Sarah  & Natalie Simkins of Orlando, FL,  Brian (Amber) Hypnar of Nashville, TN, Andrew Hypnar of Arlington, VA, and Erica Hypnar of Dearborn, MI. The family has planned 10AM-Celebration of Life Mass, at St. Edith’s Catholic Church (15089 Newburgh Rd, Livonia, MI 48154) on Sat. May 5, 2018, followed by a luncheon in the parish hall. Donations can be made directly to the family or tributes to American Cancer or to John F. Keever Solace Center in Asheville.
